When has a Trump counter-punch ever amounted to anything?

Description: Over the weekend we witnessed the return of our Tweeter-in-Chief, President Donald J. Trump. Though we had a nice break, surely you didn’t think it would last. You might remember last week JayMac commended the President for being presidential, measured, and diplomatic. He appreciated the Trump’s tone abroad. But of course, it couldn’t last forever. Since November 3rd, Trump has been traveling in Asia, meeting with world leaders and in his words having “constant meetings.” Throughout the trip, Trump’s maintained a more presidential tone than normal. Some have said, “it’s just his speechwriters,” but JayMac says, “so what?” He can still be the tough negotiator, but keeping a positive public image cannot hurt. But the cloak has come off, and the normal Trump we all know and …love has returned to us. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un insulted Trump in the familiar way--calling him old (remember dotard?). President Trump responded with a tweet layered with sarcasm. Here it is: “Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me 'old,' when I would NEVER call him 'short and fat?' Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend - and maybe someday that will happen!" Later asked about the possibility of being friends with the North Korean leader, Trump responded, “"Strange things happen in life. That might be a strange thing that happens. But it is certainly a possibility."
