Indians Removing Chief Wahoo from Uniforms

Category: Government & Organizations
Duration: 00:02:17
Publish Date: 2018-01-30 13:16:56
Description: After 47 years, the Cleveland Indians and the Chief Wahoo logo will no longer be on hats and the jerseys starting in 2019. Scott and Jason don't agree with this because it shouldn't be offensive. Scott played for the University of Utah which their mascot was the Ute and Jason played for the Washington Redskins. Scott Mitchell and Jason Buck, hosts of Rivals are past football rivals at the university and professional level, come together to talk life and sports. Scott Mitchell was a record-setting quarterback at the University of Utah. He then went on to play for Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals. Jason Buck was drafted out of Brigham Young University in the first round of the NFL draft. He played on the defensive line for Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Redskins. He earned a Super Bowl ring in the Redskins victory over Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVI. You can find Rivals on facebook at facebook.com/rivalspodcast/ and on Twitter at twitter.com/therivalsshow
