He didn’t stop there. He also claimed when female conductors have families it’s difficult for them to be as dedicated as they need to be. Wow! Before you ask, he does have a daughter. With attitudes like these, it’d take a strong woman to make it as a conductor. We’re about to meet one. The mother-of-two is the chief conductor at Perth Symphony Orchestra.
