When Emily Prior was eight years old, she asked her mum why nobody in magazines looked like her.
Emily’s mum, Jen, knew her daughter didn’t fit the typical look advertisers wanted. So, she asked Em if she wanted to change that.
Three years on, Em has made big brands shift. She has championed the need to include children with disabilities, rather than pretend they don’t exist.
But the fight isn’t over. This mother daughter team has a new target. Let’s have a good chat with Emily and Jen Prior, a woman and girl to inspire my daughter.
