What is justice and who does it serve? Murderers sometimes walk free after 12-15 years in prison, while low level drug offenders can go away for life. Two different killers with two different lawyers get two different sentences. Why? Is Lady Justice blind? Some people wish that punishments were more extreme, others say they're too harsh. What do you think? Today we dive deep into the inner workings of prosecution and defense. We welcome Leroy Jones, an activist and ex-felon who successfully had his rights restored; an we're joined by former prosecutor Denise Georges, who recognizes that prosecutors are overworked, underpaid, and subject to the whim of whatever judge they stand before.
