If you end up on the wrong side of the law, you’re probably going to get offered one of theses deals: It's called a plea bargain. But is this a game of let's make a deal, the price is right, the wheel of fortune, or double jeopardy? The plea bargain is a negotiation between the prosecution and the defense in order to reduce the amount of cases that will go to trial in an already over burdened criminal justice system. This negotiation that will ultimately determine the fate of the accused. Even though it is not up to the defendant to prove his innocence, it seems that in a plea bargain situation that the best deal might be to take what's behind curtain number three. Some are good deals, some are bad deals, but they are all the real deal because in the end it's someones life that’s being played with. Where there is injustice for one, there injustice for all.
