After all, their lives could very well be at risk if they handle anthrax, sarin, ricin produced in Riverton, Utah, and discovered in Las Vegas, or other hazardous substances in the wrong way. That's why they treat every case as though it could be the worst case even though most turn out to be a hoax. And it turns out you can help: the FBI partners with local business owners and employees to know what kinds of purchases should raise red flags and prompt a call to the FBI.
