Last month, Sarah Ladislaw (CSIS) sat down with David Turk, the Acting Director of the International Energy Agency’s Directorate of Sustainability, Technology and Outlooks, to discuss the recent launch of the IEA’s Clean Energy Transitions Programme and the wider role of institutions in the clean energy transition. Working with major emerging economies, the IEA launched this new global hub to plan a smooth transition to a cleaner energy future in five major areas: data, energy efficiency, system integration of renewables, policy & modeling, & technology.  |
