	Description:		When a man and a women meet for the first time there is something that happens along side this first impression encounter. Some rules and guidelines are outlined and established. Boundaries and barriers are put in place as a sort of containment system that will govern how these two interact with each in the future. This starts the “categorizing” process. So why do we categorize each other upon meeting? Why cant we just leave everyone in the same category and not be defined and governed by such feeble rules. The answer is simple and yet it is not a gender specific thing, but rather categorizing is a human trait. Everyone we meet we categorize. This allows us to follow the rules of how we are to interact with this person in the future. So lets look at the differences between men and women when it comes to categories on this episode of Eclectic Perspectives. We will also look at the impact of labeling, stereotyping, and judging as well.
