On the occasion of India's 75th Independence day, a small tribute from Books That Speak in the form of three stories. This is the second story from this garland.
This is the real story of Sheker Goud, the first triple amputee to climb Mount Elbrus (Russia) and Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak of the African subcontinent. An alumini of the Vivekanand Institute of Human excellence, he derives his strength from the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. This story is a brilliant testimony to how one can bounce back even against all odds.
