Spurs lost 2-1 at home to Fulham after Vicario was caught out, while Liverpool beat West Ham 2-0. Brighton saw off Nottingham Forest 2-0, and Aston Villa edged Wolves 1-0 and Manchester United beat Crystal Palace.
