This movie has a sleepy quality to it, but it does engage with some thought-provoking ideas. The movie succeeds by making you think, and in that it is interesting. Where the movie stuggles is in execution. There are no excellent set-piece moments, and too much of the important development happes off-camera. They forgot the important rule of film: it's always best to show instead of tell. That said, the film is still good, and it's worth at least a watch just for Vincent D'Onofrio's outstanding acting.
