The recovery I can create with my thinking is not real recovery. When I think I know, I have already lost the understanding. When I let go of the need to know how to get and stay sober, I can see the solution. When I am obsessed with formulas and shortcuts, I only see the problem. It is my fixed way of thinking that keeps me trapped. Addiction and recovery are both found within. I already possess both and have everything I will ever need.
