Description: MTU sports psychology lecturer Karen Weekes aims to be the first Irish female to row solo, 3,000 miles across the Atlantic, she set off in December. Karen will be only the 20th woman to complete a solo voyage across any ocean. She is also raising funds for RNLI and LauraLynn – and raising awareness around gender equality and ocean conservation.
