Week 1: Letting Go of Fear: Trusting in Divine GuidanceKey Idea: Fear is a barrier to trust. By surrendering our fears, we open ourselves to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We often think of fear as a natural part of life—something to be managed, controlled, or avoided. But A Course in Miracles teaches us that fear is actually a misperception, a choice to believe in separation rather than unity. Lesson 48 reminds us with absolute clarity: “There is nothing to fear.” If this is true, then why do we experience fear so often? And how can we let it go?

This week’s guided meditation, “Releasing Fear, Embracing Trust Meditation “, we experience imagery of the ocean as we place our fears on small paper boats. The link to the meditation is included in the study guide and is shared at the start of the Sunday study group session.
