Ben was one of the first cave diver of the international dive rescue team to arrive on the scene where the Thai school children were trapped in a cave in 2018. On the show you will have the chance to listen to the story first hand from one of the rescuers on site. We invite you to let us know what questions you may have of Ben. This rescue mission was one of the most technical operations ever performed. Ben runs the highly regarded technical diving centre Blue Label Diving in Phuket, Thailand, which specializes in CCR and Cave Training. With close to 10,000 technical and cave dives under his belt, Ben is one of the most qualified and experienced technical divers in the world. Over the years he has trained and certified more than 100 instructors under TDI and about 70 between PADI and SSI. One of them was Luca, who in 2002 was trained by Ben as a TDI Decompression Procedure and Advanced Nitrox Instructor as well as certified in operating a recompression chamber.
