Description: Have you seen a bilby? They may live closer than you think! Although threatened, the species is hanging in there, with several populations recently recorded by KNP/ KLC 's mapping work. Up until now, surprisingly little about Kimberley Bilbies has been documented scientifically. But it's important work. Learning about the bilbies could help look after other species- for example, by using the right fire regimes. Find out more with Dr Malcolm Lindsay from Environs Kimberley.
