Description: Formed well before the start of the 2015-2016 school year, Street Cred was composed of a core team of six Fine Arts students at Digipen Institute of Technology. Beginning nearly 6 months ahead of official preproduction, the Street Cred team worked tirelessly for well over a year to design and bring to life a story about a young girl who finds escape from an unhappy family life through the creative power of her graffiti art. More than simply a portfolio showcase, the film represents our number one goal: to take advantage of this unique collaborative opportunity by delivering an authentic, honest message about trauma, hope, ​and the too-often underestimated impact that parents have on their children. Although they are currently unable to post our film for public viewing, check back in early 2017! They plan on sharing her as widely as possible once the film festival season is over.
