Ms. Sandford (who coined the phrase “correctification” for us) would like to point out that in the heat of the moment, she said that the moon is “turning” when she really should have said, “orbiting (the Earth).” Yes, the moon turns, but not in the way we usually think of a body turning: Due to the way the moon is “tidally locked” with the Earth, it rotates only once per orbit, which means it’s always facing us. Which is why it has a dark side, and we can always see the “Man in the Moon”. Pretty cool.

This correctification pertains to episode one of the Regret Labs podcast.
