	Description:		My Guest this Thursday, April 26th at 3 p.m. PST on MetalSmith BenchTalk is artist Beth Wicker of Three Cats and a Dog Design Studio. Bio: I have been creating in one media or another all my life. My passions for color, texture, and pattern have permeated my work, whether in textiles, metals, paper or paint. I have a BA in Art from Meredith College in NC, an MFA from the University of South Carolina, with time spent studying at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan, at Penland School of Crafts in NC, and numerous workshops. I have been on the South Carolina Approved Artists Roster for over 25 years, conducting residencies in schools and communities throughout South Carolina. My work is in collections nationally and internationally, and has won numerous awards. I am a juried member of the Artisans of the South Carolina Cotton Trail, and a member of the North Carolina Society of Goldsmiths.
