	Description:		My Guest this Thursday, November 29 at 3 p.m. PDT/6EDT on MetalSmith BenchTalk is jeweler Jim Dunakin of Dunakin Design. About: Jim Dunakin's work is unique, no two pieces are alike. Each piece of jewelry is carefully handcrafted by the artist using numerous fabrication techniques, including stamping, chasing, repousse, forging, and inlay. Mr. Dunakin and his wife Maggi also cut and polish most of the stones used in this work. Dunakin's larger sculptural work employs many of these same techniques, as well as woodworking and other methods. This work often incorporates found objects and bones in addition to fabricated parts.
