Lawlor also talks about how the four types of the Myers Briggs personality test were based upon the four elements, and how she is able to integrate astrological thinking with her students by framing it as a form of psychological typing. She talks about some of the different cycles that youth experience such as how the Saturn opposition, trine, square, and return influence rebellion, separation and conflict in families, as well as the meaning behind a young person's journey toward individuation.
