The extension will go through 2026 and allows for an opt-out if a Power 5 conference spot opens up. Matt says being able to watch BYU on ESPN is a huge privilege for fans and a big reason to continue the relationship with the network. Mitch says the network of ESPN, ESPN2, & ABC puts BYU in a great position during Independence. Matt says that BYU is 3rd in the West in game views and that's why they bring value to ESPN.
