As a kid in an Oregonian library, I had a very rough introduction to Shakespeare. I was simply told I was going to study him on high school and that I would HAVE to like him. Ever since then, I’ve had a personal vendetta against this man who’s been dead for over 400 years!

I decided to find someone who could change my opinion and open my mind. I found Ben Crystal who is an expert in his field, albeit very humble and would prefer another title.

Come and listen to Ben’s very honest opinion and story. He’s one of those few people in the world with a perfect bass voice that commands your attention. He’s a deep thinker in his own right which made him nothing short of a joy to have him be on the podcast!

If it makes a difference, his father David Crystal is one of the English language’s most renown experts and was made an officer in the Order of the British Empire by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for his contribution to society.
