GEISH 73 – Kathrine Switzer & The Boston Marathon

Category: Sports & Recreation
Duration: 00:28:38
Publish Date: 2013-05-05 08:27:11
Description:

Given the tragic recent events in Boston, we changed our schedule, and highlighted why the Boston Marathon is such an important event. Especially when Kathrine Switzer took to the course back in 1967.

Not only running against the 26.2 miles of the course, but also against sexist rules and gender politics, Switzer helped to change the world for women everywhere.
