Britain thought it got rid of the corrupt politics of "rotten boroughs" in the 19th century. According to Raja Miah, they are alive and well in the Pakistani & Bangladeshi communities of the North of England, the Midlands, Tower Hamlets etc. Worse still, Labour is fully aware of going on but as it has been the beneficiary of these practices, many politicians have turned a wilfully blind eye to it all - just as they did with the grooming gangs.
