In this Bite Size from episode #44 Dr Jemma king shares the story of how her work with the military inspired her to contribute to the gold medal ready program in an effective and unconventional way. Dr Jemma trained Olympic athletes using methods cooked up at the elite end of the Australian military to increase athlete's stress resilience and help them be ready for the big event.
Listen in as Jemma shares some of the wild methods she used, including air horns, fake blood and even a taser to make sure that out Olympic athletes would be able to stay cool under pressure and walk away with a gold medal.
