FOLLOW UP - BOOK THROWN AT EX VW EMPLOYEEOliver Schmidt has been sentenced to the maximum seven years in prison and fined $400,000, for his part in deceiving US authorities over Volkswagen's defeat devices, on their engines. FOLLOW UP - MORE 3.0L DIESEL ENGINE ISSUESThe German transport authority has discovered another issue with VW's 3.0l diesel engines, which has the optional selective catalytic reduction system fitted. CALIFORNIA REFUSES TO LIMIT MANUFACTURER LIABILITY FOR AV TEST CARSThe Californian Department of Motor Vehicles has refused a request, by General Motors, to limit the liability a manufacturer is liable for if the vehicles aren't maintained to industry written-specific standards. TESLA SHOOTING BRAKEDutch-born designer Niels van Roij has revealed a shooting brake version of Tesla's Model S. This looks like a cracking piece of design from the renders. This is not the one that Fully Charged has visited, which is contrary to what the chaps mentioned during the show - that is Qwest version. Sorry for the incorrectness!
