He runs through a few cars that caught his eye. SMMT FEBRUARY 2018 NEW CAR REGISTRATION FIGURES Another month, another drop in registration figures. MAZDAS SUSCEPTIBLE TO HACKING Security researchers have found a vulnerability in a version of Mazda’s infotainment system that saves data such as text messages, call records, contacts, GPS history and more. All unencrypted. The only positive to this is that physical access is required to the car to then get that data out. However, it’s not good enough. LATE SWANSEA BUSES TO GET FREE PASS AT RED LIGHTS Swansea is running an experiment where buses that are running late will change the priority of red lights. As the buses are being tracked their whereabouts and progress on their schedules can be easily monitored. To read more click the BBC News article here. HENRY HOPE-FROST HAS TRAGICALLY DIED Henry Hope-Frost, the 'Voice of Goodwood', has died following an accident on his way home last week. The outpouring of love for him and his family has been both heartbreaking and wonderful to see. There is also a tribute to Henry at this weekend’s Goodwood Members Meeting, where there will be a ‘Minute of Fever’ as engines will fire up just before the Formula 5000 demonstration.
