Description:

Send us a Text Message with what batty adventures you’ve been up to this summer!

S6E56 We're back with a brand new series! At the 2024 National Bat Conference, held at the University of Reading, zoologist and wildlife TV presenter Megan McCubbin attended to chair a debate on ethical conservation and so in-between talks, she sat down with Steve to discuss her career, whether she gets to enjoy bats and the Restore Nature Now march which took place earlier in the summer.
We have a couple of regional news items for you from things that have taken place over the summer and then we're back to Megan where she sits down with the editor of the Young Batworker magazine Shirley Thompson to talk about how important the next generation is going to be for bat conservation.

Bats are magical but misunderstood. At BCT our vision is a world rich in wildlife where bats and people thrive together. Action to protect & conserve bats is having a positive impact on bat populations in the UK. We would not be able to continue our work to protect bats & their habitats without your contribution so if you can please donate. We need your support now more than ever: www.bats.org.uk/donate Thank you!
