Description: For the 6th installment of the Avenue Red 1210 series, we present a stunning mix from Stephen Sherdel AKA "Steve S", who delivered us a solid selection of deep, dubby 90's Techno and Tech House sounds. "From my lifetime's base here in sunny Stevenage in Hertfordshire, England I have been listening, buying, DJ'ing and clubbing since the mid-90's. My musical tastes have varied from Hardcore to Techno to House and now a combination of them all. With influences ranging from artists/deejays like Andrew Weatherall, Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin & Derrick Carter, I hope to think that my style and musical choices incorporate the best of them all and my mixes take you on a trip from nothing to something! As of February 2015 I've been let loose on Timeline-Music.net (every last Tuesday of the month) and Househeadsradio.com where you can catch me spinning regularly. I heard about Avenue Red through my good friend Andy Green (AKA Verdant Recordings, who did the 4th episode in this series) and thought that the 1210 series (12 records 10+ years old) is a great concept and decided I had plenty of vinyl within that criteria to produce a quality hours blend... hope you enjoy the selection I came up with!"
