Description: The largest verified fish caught around Britain and Ireland was a Six Gilled Shark of 1056 pounds taken in 2009 aboard Luke Astons boat Clare Dragoon based at Carrigaholt on Irelands River Shannon Estuary. That said, his clients have caught and released at least three bigger fish, plus other Six Gills in smaller weight categories. Here Luke Aston talks about his encounters with these enormous fish.
