Description: Launch August 24th.  How to empower scientists, universities, and research organizations to share more science on social media? That was a question I asked myself over the last 12 months. This question is paramount when we look at all the challenges that are manifesting around us, from the Covid pandemic to racism and inclusions issues, as well as climate change.  Yet, all too often research results that could help alleviating challenges stay in the shade, hidden in labs, behind jargon or pay walls. Empowering researcher and universities to do more and better science communication, will not alleviate all pain, but it might allow for knowledge exchange out of which good things may grow. Since there is no English-speaking hub for digital science communication – at least I did not find one – I thought I’ll just start one. The result is a podcast in which you will be able to learn from key people in the science communication and social media field. The podcast will start spitting episodes on the 24th of August.
