Description: Here are some stats that might shock you: -1 in 3 women will experience in continence after giving birth -1 in 2 women live with prolapse -90% of women will experience sexual dysfunction in the 12 months after giving birth -30% of women are doing pelvic floor exercises incorrectly If you’re like me you would have received a pamphlet from the hospital with the 1 in 3 stat about incontinence, but no other practical, ongoing support. So I’m excited to bring you this podcast episode today during Women’s Health Week with Pelvic Floor Physio Kelly Pendlebury where we chat about all things core and floor. Kelly shares her wisdom and insights about women’s health post-birth and offers advice for anyone who falls into any or all of the above groups. I learned a lot from this interview and I would strongly encourage anyone suffering to contact a women’s health physio for support.
