This episode can only be described as: one thing: a f*cking miracle. Julie & Brandy don’t often achieve any of their goals, or have any of their dreams come true, but both things happened when Andrew Yang agreed to be a guest on the podcast this week. Desperate to connect with him, while making eye contact (in front of the drug-den-bulletin-board-wall-of-listeners), the girls broke their cardinal ‘no video conferencing’ rule. So, while the deep connection/creepy eye contact/bulletin board backdrop were all a resounding success, unfortunately, the sound on the video call was an epic fail. Although they were disappointed, the crappy audio came as no surprise to the girls, who feel like they must have gotten black-out drunk and made a deal with the devil in order to score an interview with someone they love as much as Andrew Yang. Everyone knows that deals with the devil always come with a caveat, and in this case, their karmic-audio-retribution, was well worth it.
