But we need to realize that organizations have changed a lot since March. So, hitting the rewind button might be more costly than it sounds. We need a more sustainable approach. Very few if any companies reinforced or adjusted their operating principles and standards. How they would make decisions and frame behavior. We need to reorient our messaging about the timespan of this situation. This is the new normal for the foreseeable future. Organizations that refuse to do this may find their employees continually unsettled, increasingly cynical, or perhaps even fatalistic.
