Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second leading cause
of cancer‐related deaths in the western world and
growth factors and their receptors play a significant
role in the regulation of CRC growth, angiogenesis,
and metastasis. The platelet‐derived growth factor
receptor (PDGFR) has attracted increasing attention
as potential target of anti‐tumor therapy in CRC.
In the current work, we analyzed the effect of
blocking the PDGFRβ on cellular functions such as
proliferation, viability and cell cycle regulation in
the CRC cell line SW480. |
