	Description:		Dr Tamara Davis, PhD is a young Queensland astrophysicist who, with a team rejoicing in the name of the WiggleZs, have found evidence that dark energy is real, a discovery that supports Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity. About 23 per cent of the Universe is dark matter. The rest is thought to be dark energy, about which we know very little. Tamara was awarded the L'Oreal Women in Science Award in 2009 and the 2009 Louise Webster Award for her work among the stars and was recently named the Australian Institute of Physics 2012 Women-in-Physics Lecturer, which takes her around Australia speaking about her work.
