Scientists at UNSW's School of Biomedical Engineering have discovered what speeds up the healing process. 

Professor John Whitelock, Head of School at UNSW's Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, and Research Fellow Dr Megan Lord reveal that in studying white blood cells, a short form of the molecule perlecan was discovered which not only promotes healing, but could promote bone growth.
