Description: Most people will know Alison Quigan for her long-term role as receptionist Yvonne Jeffries on Shortland Street. But that's just one slice of the pie. For 18 years, she was the artistic director of Palmerston North's Centrepoint Theatre. She spent 10 years as the Performing Arts Manager at Mangere Arts Centre. Alison has written more than 20 successful plays and directed or appeared in more than 150. Now she's being cast as a sneaky snail in a Nightsong and Performing Arts Network New Zealand production, The Worm, which opens in Kerikeri later this month.
