Description: Hamilton is one locale that will benefit from a new government fund to combat local crime. Waikato is the police district with the highest individual number of ram raids - thirty-nine from June to September and 16 between September and October. But funding isn't the only issue - getting help where it's need has been one of the region's biggest challenges. Mayor Paula Southgate has been calling for a faster roll-out. She spoke to Guyon Espiner.
