Description: Children's Minister Kelvin Davis has acknowledged five-year-old Malachi Subecz would probably still be alive if Oranga Tamariki staff and other agencies had done their jobs properly. "It's quite likely that he would still be alive if all the agencies had done what they were meant to do." Davis told Checkpoint the senior social workers involved don't work for OT anymore. Two left on their own accord, he said. There was an employment process that happened and another left as a result of that.
