Bamber – who is also the president of the European Geosciences Union – recently co-authored a paper in Environmental Research Letters, which investigates the contribution of land ice to sea level rise during the satellite era. In a wide-ranging conversation, Bamber discusses the paper, the current state of climate modelling, and how his background in physics has influenced his approach to environmental research.
