	Description:		An internal Center for Disease Control and Prevention document revealed the Covid-19 Delta variant appears to cause more severe illness and spread as easily as chicken pox. President Joe Biden said the U.S. will “in all probability” see more restrictions due to the rise in cases. Dr. Peter Hotez is the co-director for the Center for Vaccine Development at Texas Children’s Hospital. He tells Anderson Cooper he thinks it will “get worse for lots of unvaccinated individuals” as schools open, especially in the South. Plus, Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed an executive order to prevent mask mandates in schools. Dr. Aileen Marty is an infectious disease expert at Florida International University. She joins AC360 to discuss DeSantis’s decision and says the situation in Florida is “grave” and is getting worse day-by-day.
