Although Spring has yet to arrive, Kathy spots a robin unable to move in the tree. Fearing the bird is in trouble, the Andersons bring it inside to nurse it back to health hoping it is not too late. Commentary on how this episode epitomized the very best of what Father Knows Best has now become and what will continue to television. This was an extra special episode very well written by Paul West with top shelf performances from the cast-especially Helen Strohm. We'll also compare this episode with another very famous 1963 television episode from The Andy Griffith Show. |
