Jim decides to finally build a brick wall in his backyard for privacy until he meets his kindly new back yard neighbor who praises Jim for his unselfish welcoming manner for being the only family without a wall. Commentary on the change in living patterns to these newly formed suburbs and how a man like Hubbard, who came from the farm, may not quite understand. Plus, the big change in the writing staff who now wrote stories reflecting more of a softer tone which eventually evolved into what became the success of the television series. |
