Wietse has quite the background-- he is Dutch but was raised in Somalia and Sri Lanka. He returned to Holland as a teenager and studied hospitality in university, but then ended up running his own event management company that was so successful that he dropped out of school to focus on it full time. Now, he's back in Sri Lanka as the regional manager of Tuk Tuk Rental, a company that rents tuk tuks to adventurous visitors who want to explore Sri Lanka by rickshaw.
