Today I’m sharing the audio from a Facebook Live broadcast I did with my husband, Teer, from last week. Teer and I have made some pretty significant investments in my business over the last year and I really think it’s important that as we invest to grow our businesses, we really help our spouses to understand why this is so important for us. I hear a lot of women say that their husbands won’t allow them to invest at a certain level, or that their husbands don’t believe in their dreams, but if I’m being completely honest, I don’t believe that. I truly believe that our spouses want what’s best for you. He or she wants what’s best for both of you! And I think sometimes the insecurities that we have when it comes to investing, we can project onto the other person, making the conversation uncomfortable, confrontational, or even negative.
