	Description:		Both the Prime Minister and Opposition Leader saw first-hand this week the catastrophic damage of the floods in northern NSW. 10 days after the deluge – Scott Morrison declared a national disaster – and extended support payments – at least for some of the devastated communities. He played it safe in Lismore - careful to avoid any confrontations with angry locals. Labor – however – is doing all it can to make the mud stick. Drawing on memories of the Black Summer bushfires – it's labelled the Prime Minister's handling of this latest natural disaster – another failure. It says the support provided has been too little, too late – and the threat of climate change isn't being taken seriously.
