I've got to tell you that I like to craft except craft isn't the right word because I am very girly but I'm also a complete disaster. So I like big crafting projects and we usually call those a house flip which is basically Pinterest on steroids. Well I have been working on my back deck. My cousin made me a steel rail to go down the steps and it has been out there and it's not primed it's not pretty it's, you know, actually kind of ugly. And I was sitting there this morning and I realized that oh about spray paint at Lowe's. So today when I realized that I was going to paint or the other day when I realize I was going to paint the handrail on the back stoop my choices were bright red or black so I chose the black. Yeah I chose black to be a little bit more blended I guess. Also, as I'm standing in the studio my hands are covered in little black specks of spray paint and thank goodness I didn't have any jewelry on or anything or I'd have little paint in my accessories. So your lesson here is where plastic gloves if you're spray painting or coloring your hair in the bathroom by yourself. Wear gloves because I've ruined a manicure that way. Also wear gloves or leave this stuff to the professionals. But I say this to also let you know that this afternoon I am going to use the rest of the black spray paint on the front stoop because after the back stoop looks so pretty with his fresh paint the front stoop looked kind of sad. So also move your cars if you're going to be spray painting because you don't want the imprint of whatever you're painting on the car and the wind blows as soon as you start spray painting. Hasn't blown all day except when you start spray painting hurricane coming through. So make sure you have everything prepped and ready and that could mean just making sure it's not wet. That could be making sure it's been sanded and that could also mean making sure your valuables are out of the way. So that's my Pinterest crafty project and that's also a good tidbit if you are trying to sell your house or flip your house a can of spray paint will go a long ways towards curb appeal.
